We use only safe and natural cosmetic dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the human body. We use a variety of dermal fillers for the correction of facial wrinkles, frown lines, smile lines, restoration of the lip border, lip enhancement, cheek augmentation, restoration of volume in temples and other soft tissue contour deformities. Not only are these particular fillers safe and natural, but they can be easily dissolved if there are any allergic reactions or dissatisfaction with the results.
The procedure takes between 15-20 minutes. The most common possible side effects include bruising, swelling, redness and tenderness in the injected area. There are some extremely rare complications such as allergic reactions, vascular occlusion, necrosis and blindness. This is why it is extremely important to only let an experienced injector perform filler injections. We recommend that you avoid anti-inflammatory medications, blood thinners, certain vitamins and alcoholic beverages prior to treatment to reduce your risk of bruising.
The anti-inflammatory medications you should avoid include ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin), Alleve, Excedrin, Aspirin and other similar medications.
Fillers are a very natural way to replenish volume loss and to create a more youthful appearance. The goal is to keep you looking like yourself and to keep you looking natural! There are many areas that can be injected with filler, including the following:
Lips
Nasolabial Folds
Cheeks
Chin
Jawline
Tear Trough
Temples
Earlobes
Hands
There are several factors that determine how long filler lasts. The most common factors affecting the longevity of your filler are number of syringes used, area being treated, number of previous treatments, skin type and age. On average, most filler will last around 12 months.
We recommend that you anticipate about 3-5 days of social downtime after filler injections. The degree of swelling and bruising can vary from person to person, but can usually be covered with make up. Bruising and swelling can be significantly minimized by avoiding the medications listed above and abstaining from alcoholic beverages for 3 days prior to injection. You can also be proactive by taking Arnica and Bromelain for a couple of days before your injection.
