Dysport is a simple injection treatment for the temporary improvement of the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows.

Dosing of Dysport is different than the dosing of Botox. It usually requires 3 times as many units of Dysport than it does for Botox. However, the actual treatment process is very similar to Botox. A few tiny injections are placed into certain muscles. Within a week, you will see noticeable smoothing!

The most common side effects following injection include localized pain, swelling, inflammation, tenderness, headache and bruising. Less common side effects include temporary eyelid droop, migraine and allergic reaction.

Dysport should NOT be used in patients who are allergic to cow's milk protein. Dysport cannot be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
